Understanding Fate Grand Order

The Fate series has been out for a while, but this game takes place in an alternate timeline where the Holy Grail War never ended. The protagonist is a Master who has to fight other Masters and their Servants for control of the Holy Grail, which grants any wish! You can find your favorite characters from Fate/Zero, Unlimited Blade Works, Heaven’s Feel I & II, Fate/stay Night, etc., in the game and use them to fight the Holy Grail War.

The Rules of Fate Grand Order: You can create up to three teams and send them into battle against other players’ teams! The battles take place in real-time, and you have a limited amount of energy with which to fight. Send your Servants out on quests so they can get experience points and level up, which the pros call “grinding”.

Understanding the Gameplay of Fate Grand Order

The gameplay is relatively straightforward, but there are still some things you should know! This is especially true if you want to take on the Grand Quests, which are basically harder versions of regular quests.

Your team will consist of up to six Servants who have different roles in battles; there’s a DPS (damage per second) role, tanking role, healing role, and so on for you to learn and memorize if you want to be a total stud in the game.
